Have you ever read the Federal Reserves Beige Book? It’s a good read if you want to get a broad, unbiased view of what the economy is up to. I find, with all the sensational reporting, The Beige Book is the best way to get the information I want without having to wade through idiot reporters who are inflating the truth or twisting it to get readers. I will say the report isn’t pretty. The person who wrote it probably wore out the Thesaurus trying to come up with adjectives for bad, weak, etc.
