Pea Gravel
Did you know there are several types of pea gravel. You have your standard pea gravel which is a brown color and is full of jagged small rocks. Then you have your Alabama pea gravel that is full of smoother small rocks. The difference? One’s smoother and one’s about double in price. Oh, and there is one more difference. The wife prefers one over the other.
Advice: Don’t order it unseen and pay $95 for a delivery charge only to realize you didn’t say “Alabama pea gravel” instead of pea gravel over the phone. I’ve talked about how gas prices are a real drain on the US economy but $95 to bring some gravel 15 miles? Ouch.
The moral of the story: Order the right pea gravel or pay two $95 delivery charges. Or, have a truck and pick it up yourself!
