GM - Gov't Motors

Wow, a 31 year old is in charge of dismantling General Motors.  Really?  Really?

You need a little life and business experience to make these decisions.  Working on a campaign doesn’t exactly constitute that.  I don’t care how bright you are!

I agree with Bob. I have been a business man for over 15 years now. When I look back at some of the decisions I made at 30, I really shake my head. Is there not 6-12 auto industry execs/veterans capable of consulting on this mess? We’ve turned to a 31 year old to get us through 30 years of bad auto industry decisions. The article talks about him being so smart and aware of the economic and political ramifications. What’s his colleague supposed to say? The guy is a moron? He’d never say that. If you’ve ever been on any sports team, you stick together. That’s what the Obama team is doing. They are sticking together. it doesn’t mean they should be relying on a 31 year old to make any important decisions about the future of the auto industry…even if it does work.
