With the track record of Tiger, you have to sit up and pay attention to the direction that they are taking. This isn’t the Julian Robertson Tiger, but it is a protege’ of his. Returns for Tiger Global are +70% in 2007, and an average annual return of 47% from 2001-2007. Tiger Global is run by Chase Coleman.
I will be looking at a REIT short myself. The commercial market is teetering right now.
